I'm back...with Jars!

I've been really busy as you all know with my business Lather & Soak !! I have a lot of great events coming up where our products will be featured, more of that later... I wanted to share with everyone the great new jars I found at my local thrift store. They were super cheap and made in Canada (bonus), and I can't wait to show you all what they look like filled with flowers or a cute votive candle...I'll be back soon, thanks for sticking around :)

Enjoy ...

and here are just some of my newest products for Lather & Soak

The flowers are in full bloom

I know, I know I am going to stop making excuses about being busy, as you all can see from my lack of posts that I have been a lousy blogger! But to be honest business is doing well, and this takes up all my time...don't get me wrong, I couldn't be happier or more grateful!! I have a few craft fairs and markets that I will be at this summer as well, and I can't wait to share all the pictures and info with you guys. I hope some of you can even pass by, a lot of them are in the Toronto area, so all my fellow T. dot residents I am talking to you. I will update you all here about dates!! Very excited!!

Another thing that has been growing around here aside from business are my plants, my garden is really filling out...with blooms, and some weeds as well...oops! Time to de-weed, any tips? I still need to plant a few but overall I am truly enjoying all the pretty flowers. Enjoy the pics and your weekends, I will be off for a few days as I am celebrating my 26th birthday this weekend!!

Busy business: Lather & Soak

I have been busy and quite noticeably absent the last week, and now I can show you all what I've been busy doing. My little fingers are aching and I haven't slept in a few days...I think...because I have been pouring my heart and soul into my small handmade soap making business, and I am so happy to say that it has been well received. I was worried...putting yourself out there into the big wide world and trying to make it doing what I love (creating) combined with living well. I am so happy to say that Lather & Soak has been flooded with sales and back orders even!!

Thank you to all of those who support me and keep me going strong in my creative ventures.

Here is just a sneak peek of all the orders:

Soap & Chocolate?

I know weird post title...but I can explain. I just recently opened a new business, and since I don't make chocolate, well I guess you can conclude from the title I've gone into the soap making business.

It all started when my sister Patti mentioned how much the soap we regularly use in our home was always bothering her. We changed the soap, several times but still her skin seemed to be sensitive to the overly drying generic and name brand soaps.

I do buy a lot of LUSH products because well to be honest I love them (as does my sister) but to be honest they are pretty pricey...I once payed over $30 for a large block of "Honey I washed the kids", which by the way lasted a little over a week!

So my next idea was to research, and research I did. I found out how to make my own soaps, this way I knew exactly what was going into them and I didn't have to pay ridiculous retail prices!

So I wanted to share my new endeavour with everyone and share some pics of some of my products.

My shop is called Lather & Soak and can be found here I would love for you all to head over and check it out. I also carry organic soap products.

This one is called "Chilli Chocolat"

oatmeal and lavender

green tea and goats milk
